* The Botanic Garden has close links with the Isle of Wight community and activities are varied from the annual Easter 'Egg-Rolling' and Pumpkin Carving to workshops and training days.

Island Spinners, Weavers and Dyers

The utilisation of vegetable dyes obtained from plants grown at the Garden and demonstrated by the Island Spinners, Weavers and Dyers.

Youth Training Group constructing terracing from the recycled timbers of Ventnor Pier. This area is now holds the collection of Japanese Plants.
