The Royal Garden Café

Bridget and her team are pleased to welcome you to the beautiful and relaxing Royal Garden Café in the Garden. Sit inside or out enjoying the tranquil trickle of the fountain and beautiful view of the Garden while you enjoy a delicious lunch, freshly prepared using the finest local ingredients.

The café offers a fantastic menu including light lunches, hot and cold snacks and a wide array of sumptuous homemade cakes.

We are proud to use many local producers - all of our cakes are made using Island produced flour, and free-range eggs. We only buy meat from Island farms, and we take full advantage of the Island’s fantastic fruit and vegetables, according to the seasons. Fresh herbs grown here at Ventnor Botanic Garden add great flavour to all of our salads, pies and specials.

Why not try our irresistible cream tea - a pot of fair trade tea, freshly baked scones accompanied by clotted cream and delicious homemade strawberry jam.

Fair-trade freshly ground Italian style coffees are the perfect accompaniment for one of our fabulous homemade cakes, biscuits or big, chewy meringues.
