Event Details

Bihar/Satyananda yoga classes are accessible for everyone regardless of age, gender, physical ability or experience. They emphasise the spiritual and meditative side of yoga. Classes include postures, breathing, meditation, deep relaxation and chanting. Although the structure of the class is similar each week, the content takes you through a journey of progression and self-awareness.

For Nickie the focus is on ensuring that the class practices can be transferred to daily life ensuring students maximise their physical good health, mental wellbeing and sense of purpose not just when they leave class but throughout the whole week.

Nickie Short has practised yoga for 30 years and been teaching for  20.  She has over 30 years of experience of working with people with a wide range of physical, mental and learning disabilities in addition to a wide range of ongoing health problems.  Nickie is passionate about bringing the benefits of yoga and a sense of purpose in life to all those who are suffering in anyway.  She offers classes, one2one sessions and retreats.
