The Undercliff offers a more secluded route for the round the round the Island cycling enthusiasts. The blue and white signs send cyclists on the busier higher road which misses the cycle access only through road to from Ventnor to Niton where the 2014 landslip took out the road

Walking

With Steephill Cove minutes away one can visit one of the Isle of Wight’s most iconic fishing villages and sneak in a swim at high tide. Or better yet walk west on the coastal path and try the more secluded beaches of Orchard Bay and Woody Bay. St Cathrines lighthouse beckons the more adventurous and offers a glimpse into Victorian engineering. One can also walk up onto Ventnor Down with its “pillboxes” – the fortified machine gun turrets on World War II that dot the Island.
