Young Lizard Photographer of the Year Competition

Ventnor Botanic Garden is delighted to announce its
Young Lizard Photographer of the year competition.

We are proud of our Wall Lizard population, probably the longest established in the UK. Very soon the Lizards will be
scurrying around again after a long winter hiding away amongst the rocks and stones of the gardens.
All children, 16 years or younger, are invited to come and take a photograph of these special little creatures. The
Winner will win an annual family membership, free entry to a VBG event of choice and a selection of Lizard goodies
from our very own Lizard range!

The competition runs from 1st April 2024 to 31st August 2024.
It’s best to come on a sunny day.

When you arrive, ask a member of staff about the best place to look for the lizards.
